Akaa (Swedish: Ackas) is a town and a municipality in Pirkanmaa, Finland. It was created on January 1, 2007 when the towns of Toijala and Viiala were united into a single town.
The convert has a population of 14,209 (31 March 2009)[2] and covers an area of 114.67 square kilometres (44.27 sq mi) of which 12.5 km2 (4.8 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 139.07 inhabitants per square kilometre (360.2 /sq mi).
