Allama Banoori Town is a residential and commercial area in Karachi, originally named "New Town". It was renamed Allama Banoori town in honour of the famed Deobandi Shaikh Sayyid Muhammad Yusuf al-Banoori. Shaikh Yousuf Binoori has established a religoius institute by the name of Darul Uloom Binoori town. The instutite is the well known institute among Deobundi world wide. Maullana Yousuf was a great shcolar.
