Aomori Prefectural Aomori High School

Aomori Prefectural Aomori High School (青森県立青森高等学校 Aomori Kenritsu Aomori Kōtō Gakkō) is a high school in Aomori, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
Originally a Junior High School, the school was established on 1900-09-11[1], on the site of a former military camp where the Hakkōda disaster took place which killed 199 out of 210 soldiers in the winter of 1902.[2]
In 2000, one of the school's chairmen embezzled 34 million yen from the school's 100th anniversary funds.[3]
