Constantin C. Giurescu

Constantin C . Giurescu (1901-1977) was a historian of Romania.[1] A specialist in medieval and early modern history of Southeast Europe, he taught at the University of Bucharest and was expected to have been the first to hold the Nicolae Iorga Chair at Columbia University in New York City in the Spring semester of 1972.[2] He is the author of at least one book in English translation, Transylvania in the History of the Rumanian People.[2]
