DOC: The Documentary Channel is a digital cable television channel that airs documentary programming. It features documentaries from around the world, including those never-before-seen in the United States and tends to focus on programming from independent filmmakers.

DOC launched in January 2006, is independently owned and operated, and is currently available via Dish Network. It is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, and has offices in New York City and Los Angeles.

The channel was founded by Oscar nominated and Emmy winning documentarian Tom Neff. DOC won its first Emmy award, for Outstanding Documentary, in September 2007, for Shake Hands with the Devil: The Journey of Roméo Dallaire.
