Elías Ricardo Figueroa Brander (born October 25, 1946 in Valparaíso) is a former football (soccer) player from Chile. He was considered the best player in America in 1974, 1975, 1976, and all-time best football player in Chile.

Figueroa started and ended his career with Chilean clubs. He spent several years in Uruguay with Peñarol, in Brazil with Internacional, and in the US with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
He was designated Best Player of Uruguay in 1967 and 1968. He was also designated as best South American football player in 1974, 1975, and 1976, best defender in the 1974 World Cup, best Brazilian football player 1975 and 1976, and best Chilean football player in 1977 and 1978.
FIFA named him player of the year in 1975 and 1976 and one of the world's 125 best living soccer players.

He had 70 caps and scored two goals with the Chilean national football team. He played in the 1966 World Cup in England, the 1974 Wold Cup in Germany, and the 1982 World Cup in Spain 1982. In 1979 he was the captain of the Chilean squad that finished in second place in the Copa América.
