The Estadio Olimpico Pascual Guerrero is a stadium built honoring Pascual Guerrero. The Stadium is located in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. The stadium was the main stadium of the 1971 Pan American Games in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. It was built in 1937 and it has a capacity for 45,625 spectators. It is the home of two of the city football teams: Deportivo Cali, and America de Cali. In 2007 Deportivo Cali will move into a new stadium, Estadio Deportivo Cali, becoming the first Colombian football team to own its own stadium. Due to its privileged weather, most mass spectacles in Cali are held in this open-air scenario, which has accommodated up to 50.000 people in non-athletic performances (surface and stands). All kind of bands have played in here: rock, salsa, latin, pop, andean, mariachis, etc. It has even held massive religious congregations. On 19 November 2008, Shakira held a concert there.
