Club Atlético Gimnasia y Esgrima (usually known as Gimnasia de Jujuy) is an Argentine sports club from San Salvador in Jujuy Province founded in 1931, best known for its professional football (soccer) team, currently playing in the first division.
The team is one of the most important football clubs in the north-west of Argentina. They have played most of the time in the Argentine second division, but have played at the highest level of Argentine football on many occasions.
El Lobo Jujeño obtained the 1993/94 Nacional B (second division) championship, and played in first division until their relegation in 2000.
After a good 2004/2005 season, in which the club won the Primera B Nacional Clausura 2005 tournament, they returned to the Argentine Primera.
