Jean-François Jarrige

Jean-François Jarrige (born August 5, 1940, Lourdes) is a French archaeologist specializing in South Asian archaeology. He holds a doctorate from the University of Paris in oriental archaeology. He has carried out the excavations in Baluchistan, Mehrgarh and Pirak. In 2004, he became the director of the Musée Guimet in Paris.
