The 2001–02 Scottish Challenge Cup was the 11th staging of the tournament, which is competed for by all 30 members of the Scottish Football League.

The final was played on October 14, 2001, between Airdrieonians and Alloa Athletic, at Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld.
