The soprano cornet is a brass instrument very similar to the standard cornet.
The soprano cornet is a transposing instrument in E♭, pitched higher than the standard cornet. The soprano cornet can often be found playing lead or descant parts in ensembles.
One soprano cornet is usually seen in brass bands/silver bands.
