If whoever wrote this had any idea what he was talking about, he would know that Cinnabar is native vermillion (aka, mercury sulfide.) It's not assumed to be related to mercury, it is mercury. 68.228.91.250 (talk) 22:57, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
