[edit] "Concern" a synonym?

Is "concern" a synonym for "holding compary"? --Dan Polansky (talk) 17:52, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] US focus

I don't think that there are necessarily the same legal concept in other countries. Removal of the tag is probably warranted. If noone objects, I will remove it in two weeks.Racepacket (talk) 13:44, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

It's a common term in the UK, and the concept clearly exists elsewhere. Globalisation of the article seems entirely appropriate to me. If this article were on US law on holding companies (which I'm sure is distinct from whatever law there is elsewhere) I could see your point, but the title is suggestive of something broader, and there's not so much content here that a split seems indicated at this point.
