Tongcheng is a very important region in china,because a very important classic essay genre which led chinese literature for almost 300 years in qing dynasty was born here.In those years 1200 writers walked out of here and created chinese classic literature history.But from 1919,because of the new culture movement tongcheng genre finally disappearred in chinese history .So at the end of chinese classic literature history ,tongcheng genre was a very significant symbol.
