Arun Kamal was born in Nasariganj, Rohtas (Bihar).  He is a Professor in the Department of English, Science College, Patna University. He has several publications to his credit, including Apni Keval Dhar and Naye Ilake Mein. He is also the author of Kavita Aur Samay (Poetry and Time) – a collection of literary essays. He is the recipient of Bharat Bhusan Agrawal award and Soviet Land Nehru award. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award (1998) for his poetry collection,  Naye Ilake Mein.   • Arthur Moss 1889-1969,American Expatriate, born in NY Greenwich Village, editor of "Quill" until 1921 when he moved to Paris where he stayed til death. Published Hemingways earliest works in his magazines "Gargoyle" and "Boulevardier". Also wrote several books of his own including bios of Henry Murger(La Boheme) and Jocques Offenbach, and three books of poetry...his last being "Tale of Twelve Cities and Other Poems" published in 1963.Mossinterest (talk) 02:58, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Ashanti White born 1982, American writer and photographer, author of "Chasing Eden" and "Razor Blades Between My Teeth." Has been publishhed in The Commonline Project, Black Enterprise, and Callaloo. She also writes for DV8 Magazine and Library Journal.
